For Eclipsecon 2008, I took the challenge to write all the material of my talk on a wiki page. Along the way I discovered the power of templates.
Templates are an easy way to give a very cool look and feel to text elements on a mediawiki-based wiki.

For example, here is my latest addition, Template:Faq, in action:

I have been contributing some other templates in the past, check out for example Warning and Announce for example.

Until recently those templates were still a well kept secret. I went over to the good folks on #wikimedia who offered me the link to show them all.

I also included it in the standard help page. I hope this helps someone!
