This query made me think that BPMN and BPEL really are real compared to other buzz words.

So you can imagine when we started looking into Rails, it was developer’s Nirvana. We immediately realized it didn’t get in our way: we were finally able to think about how to solve a problem without having to worry how to put it in code — and that’s mostly due to the power of Ruby.

I didn’t miss the long hours or the stress, but I missed being surrounded by lots of really smart people, and sitting down in front of a computer to just crank out code.
I start experiencing that too (meaning, being surrounded by smart people). Chad Fowler wrote it was like being the worst player of the band. Your skills are leveraged by the overall technical skills.
And we do have sometimes good discussions (when we don’t talk about Maven).

Apparently Eclipse isn’t doing enough to edit text, so here is a plugin to finally have your console back.

I am not a supporter of vim, not like this gentleman (well, more an anti-IDE than a pro-something), but I am using it to develop Ruby for the sake of trying and widening my horizon.
