This query made me think that BPMN and BPEL really are real compared to other buzz words.
From The Wonsys blog:
So you can imagine when we started looking into Rails, it was developer’s Nirvana. We immediately realized it didn’t get in our way: we were finally able to think about how to solve a problem without having to worry how to put it in code — and that’s mostly due to the power of Ruby.
I had the same feeling.
We had a special gift from Ismael the other day.
We were offered some very nice USB keys with the IT|Redux logo !

The key comes with the Office suite of Think Free installed, here is the full story.
Thank you guys !
You just don’t become a good programmer through sheer force :
I didn’t miss the long hours or the stress, but I missed being surrounded by lots of really smart people, and sitting down in front of a computer to just crank out code.
I start experiencing that too (meaning, being surrounded by smart people). Chad Fowler wrote it was like being the worst player of the band. Your skills are leveraged by the overall technical skills.
And we do have sometimes good discussions (when we don’t talk about Maven).
I am honored to work near Assaf, with who I had this talk today (through email):
Me - Assaf, what’s taking you ?
Why isn’t this already in your tumblr ?*
Come on, 12 hours offset are unacceptable ![]()
Me - Oh crap - messed up, didn’t see it.
Sorry.**
Assaf-and I already e-mailed him to let him know.
Me-In your previous life you were a firefighter.
Now I am looking for a nice red fire truck that could be used as a logo (in SVG) for Buildr, the new Maven reap(e)r !
An other approach to build Java is Raven, which is quite mature now I think.
* Poor french humour
** Stupid french guy blushing in front of his browser
Wow ! I am very impressed with the look and feel of this new website.
I really hope it will attract readers, I already have some screencast ideas for the website.
Now, when will we be moving from Bugzilla to Jira… ? and from the newsgroups to something more mainstream ?
Update: I heard a new version of Bugzilla will be installed after Europa. Thanks Denis!
Get yourself your treat !
Apparently Eclipse isn’t doing enough to edit text, so here is a plugin to finally have your console back.
Here are some instructions to learn how to use it. (still haven’t read them all..)
I am not a supporter of vim, not like this gentleman (well, more an anti-IDE than a pro-something), but I am using it to develop Ruby for the sake of trying and widening my horizon.
